Hey Dreamers, here are your September 2025 Community updates!

We haven't written one since May and kept you all informed (it was a hard format), but moving forward, we're going to let you know all of the big announcements from SyncedIn and let you know what's happening every month so that you can explore your creative endeavors!

Our next SyncedIn (in-person community hangout) will be on Thursday, October 9th - if you haven't been to one before, send us a message (@jstdrmn or hello@jstdrmn.com) and we'd love to welcome you!

Exciting News from JSTDRMN HQ✨

• We got a grant from the Ontario government to support our Halloween show! This will help us financially support the artists that are playing - artist applications open very soon - keep an eye out on @jstdrmn
  
  

• We're growing our team! You can learn more about the team here but here are the roles we're exploring:

  • Education Lead — working hand in hand with myself to grow the education side of the business into something much bigger than it is today. See the role description here. 

  • Label Admin — helping us get into a better routine for releases so that we're more consistent.

Community ☁️

• We are now going to be running community events online every Thursday night on Discord(except during SyncedIn)! These will be fun sessions to see what each other is up to and meet the community online! 

• There will also be Book Club before each online event - we're currently reading The Art of War. Plus, weekly Sunday morning runs with Ravers Run Club.

Events 🚀

• We have a free show called Purpalooza happening Friday, Sept 12. Open Decks, wear purple for free entry!

• Artist applications for our halloween shot, Nightmare on Spadina, will be opening soon! Keep an eye out on Discord, it will be posted there first and then on @jstdrmn

Education 🎶

• We just finalized our DJ Bootcamp! There's going to be 5 brand new DJs debuting at Nightmare on Spadina - so exciting to watch them grow! 

• We also just opened applications for our very first Production Bootcamp. There's more information here but this is what you will get out of the experience: 

  • Get your track from idea to Spotify with 5 weekly classes

  • Create content while you learn to prepare for the release

  • Deadline: Sunday, Sep 21

Label 💿

• We just released Rave by Mazzy and Unsighted! You can stream it here or download it here. 

• Our next track will be Killing Spree by Yuzu! It's a really complex complextro (say that 3 times fast)/ hybrid trap track and the community pre-release download link is available in our Discord! Test out the track and let us know how it is! 

• Lastly, if you have any upcoming releases, feel free to send the demo to us here!
